Q. What is your minimum account size?
A. Managed Accounts: $100,000
Q. What fees will be charged on my account?
A. Managed Accounts: aggregate fees may vary from sponsor firm to sponsor firm. Additionally, your bank or brokerage house will charge fees to have custody of your assets, as well as transaction costs to execute trades on your account. WSIM does not negotiate custodial or transaction costs on your behalf.
Q. How will my fee be calculated?
A. Fees are generally based on the market value of assets under management and are payable quarterly in arrears. In addition, under circumstances that WSIM considers appropriate, it may enter into special fee arrangements that may vary from the fee schedule described above. The client may pay their fee directly by check, or, with prior written consent, advisory fees may be paid to WSIM directly by the custodian selected to maintain the account.
Additionally, your bank or brokerage house will charge fees to have physical possession of your assets, as well as transaction costs to execute trades on your account. WSIM does not negotiate custodial or transaction costs on your behalf.
Q. In which sectors does WSIM invest?
A. Your assets will be invested in sectors that we believe will out-perform the market indexes on a 3- to 5-year time frame. Currently, WSIM invests in all sectors, but favors: Information Technology, Healthcare, Financials, Industrials and Consumer Discretionary.
Q. Will I hold bonds, treasuries, or international securities?
A. In a balanced portfolio you may hold bonds, treasuries or fixed income securities. In a aggressive growth or growth portfolio you typically will be invested in domestic equities only. At times you may own international securities in the form of American Depository Receipts (ADRs).
Q. How many securities will my portfolio hold?
A.Your WSIM portfolio will hold fewer than 30 securities.
Q. I'm concerned about taxes. How often will you be trading in my portfolio?
A. WSIM can implement a tax smart approach. In a tax smart approach we invest in those names we think will perform well over a 3- to 5-year time period. (As a result, your portfolio will be tax-efficient.) On average, our turnover rate has typically not exceeded 20% a year.
Q. When would you sell a position out of my portfolio?
A. Our sell discipline is quite straightforward. A security would be sold for one of three reasons:
Better relative opportunity is discovered. Valuations become excessive relative to the peer group. Change in company fundamentals.
Q. How much cash will you leave in my account?
A. Typically, the cash balance will not exceed 10% of your total portfolio and is often limited to 3% to 5%.
Q. Who has discretionary authority over my account?
A. Your signature on the Investment Advisory Agreement (the contract) grants WSIM or the program sponsor certain discretionary authority relating to the investment of the assets in the account. WSIM or the program sponsor will have Limited Power of Attorney to trade securities for your account. At all times, the assets are physically in the possession of the custodian selected. Although this discretion enables WSIM to trade securities in the account, there can be no assurance that this discretion will result in an appreciation in the value of the account.

A. A client may terminate WSIM´s investment advisory services at any time.
