Cinemark does not have an economic moat.  It relies on superior execution as a success driver.  The company competes for consumer's discertionary entertainment dollars and is highly correlated to the success of current movies.

 

OUTLOOK

The upcoming film slate should spur the top line higher through 2016. Fortunes at the domestic box office figure to turn around this year, driven by a row of expected blockbusters spaced throughout the calendar year. Cinemark's ever-increasing exposure to the growing movie-going populace in Latin America will expose it to even more of the global box office.
